 Audrey King is an international known writer. She was born in Canada, but her two main books have travelled around the world. These books, Count on Me (1985) and There’s Lint in Your Belly Button (1987), talk about the integration of people with disabilities in Society. Besides a writer, she is also a speaker and advocate on disability issues. Due to polio, Ms King has been using ventilator, electric wheelchair and personal assistance since 1952. She has lived many years absent from the society, until she finally has realized that she could have a normal life. This is the message she wants to take to everyone with reduced mobility.
