Hi Pedro,

We arrived safe and sound. Boy, we were tired...it was a long day of travel total 20 hours. Al did real well, and is now talking about our next trip.

Thank you for everything, you made our stay in Lisbon very enjoyable, and thank you, for going out of your way to make sure Al was comfortable. We learned so much about your people and country, and came home wanting to return. I'm sure to recommend you for my clients.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas, and a Prosperous New Year!

Kind regards,
Al and Theresa Murry

Thank you so much for helping us organizing our trip in Portugal.

The trip was fabulous, the hotels you selected were absolutely perfect and the locations majestic.

We highly enjoyed ourselves in Portugual and all people we met were very nice.

I\'d also like to thank you for the having assisted me with finding help for my flat tire.

Gorge was extremely responsive and took care of my problem, even on Sunday night!

Dear Mr. Varela,

Would you forward my thanks to your driver who transported me through Lisbon, to and from airport, between the Acores and the Sana, quickly, adequately and with a lot of dialogue on the subject which were of interest by both of us.
Best wishes,

Luis,
I wish to thank you and your organisation for a very enjoyable holiday for my wife, Josephine and myself. The trip around Portugal and Spain was interesting and enjoyable, despite the long journeys- in a way- it was the trip of a lifetime- I just wish that I was several years younger so that I  could see more.  Visits to Porto, Madrid,Cordoba, Seville, Algarve, Sangres, Fatima, Toledo, Abidos, Amarante, and Sintra- so much to see  and so much more to go back for, and then an evening of Fado with Marco and Filipe. Pedro was marvellous, always cheerful, patient, helpful, knowledgeable, ready to respond to questions, cool under pressure and safe driving all those miles- 1600 miles -9 hotels and 6 demanding passengers for 14 days. Expect me to return, Regards, Arthur O'Dal

Dear Luis and Pedro,
Thank you very much for a wonderful and informative Tour through Portugal and Spain.  We enjoyed a very pleasant two weeks and could not have had a better Tour guide than Pedro.  He was absolutely magnificent, charming, patient and very knowledgeable.  We have bestowed upon him a new title, ”Executive Director of Field Tour Operations and Crisis Management,” a title he earned many times during the two weeks we spent with him!

Thanks a lot for your help (the hotel was perfect and not so far from the city using metro between marques de pombal and restauradores or buses). we enjoyed lisboa a lot, our favourite was going to cacilhas by ferry and having dinner in the sunset!

good luck at reha-care.

Olá Luis,

Our flight home was fine and we have started to settle back into the routine and have been busy with catching up on work.  We are all still “reeling” from the truly amazing visit to your country and feeling sad that the trip is over.

We all felt it was an excellent tour and that we received wonderful service from you and Hugo (who became a member of our family) and all the wonderful people at Accessible Portugal.  We did so much and saw so many beautiful places that we felt we did more than we would ever expect from a “regular” tour for people without disabilities.  We enjoyed the terrific variety of attractions, sites, sounds, and tastes of Portugal and would love to return someday for more.  I commend and thank you for your reliability, professionalism, friendly and courteous service.  I would gladly recommend Accessible Portugal to others seeking accessible tours of countries in Europe, especially Portugal. Mark and I felt it was one of the best vacations we have ever had, if not the best!

I have spoken to the rest of the family a couple of times and everyone agrees it was a fantastic, once-in-a-lifetime trip.  We have all been raving about what a great time we had and will NEVER forget it.  I spoke to my oldest brother and his wife who live near the others in Florida and they said my family can not stop talking about it.  When I have them ready, I will email you some pictures.

Thank you again for everything and I wish you much continued success.

Nicholas ( 9days tour "typical north")

Thank you very much for a wonderful day on Wednesday. I don't think we could
expect better. Your arrangements were excellent and you even managed to
organize great weather!

Please do give us a call if you are in the Tabua area with some spare time.
There are many things we might talk about -- from disabled Japanese tourists
to good places for fado in Lisboa!
In the meantime, I wish you all the best with your business. It's a great
idea and you provide a service that is needed everywhere. There is no reason
that people with disabilities should not enjoy travel as much as everyone
else.
Good luck also on your tour with blind people. That will be a bit
challenging! But when we first came to Portugal in the spring, we thought
the countryside was like aromatherapy -- the smell of wild flowers was so
strong. Humans can understand that, blind or not.

Steve

Once upon a time there was a family of five from Australia who did nothing but disagree with one another. One day the king asked his queen and royal subjects what they wanted to do for the family holiday. When the family responded with groans, the king consulted his magic mirror and found a pleasant retreat on nice little country. The family loaded their bags reluctantly and prepared for 7 days of family feud. Upon their arrival at Portugal they realized that they had come to a magical place and for 7 days they all swam, visited magical places, talked and thoroughly enjoyed life together. They got crazy with the beaches and devoured plates and plates of delicious Portuguese food. At the end of their stay they once again, with reluctance, packed their bags. They decided to hold a royal vote and unanimously agreed that this was one of the best vacations ever. Thanks!

On December 3, 2005, Hugo met us at the pier where we had just disembarked from our Holland America Cruise. He drove us to the Mundial hotel in Lisbon which is located in a very nice area. It is clean, a spacious room; the front desk was helpful in giving directions, etc. ACCESSIBLE PORTUGAL had made the reservation for us which was most helpful. After waiting for us there, Hugo proceeded to drive us on a four hour tour of Lisbon . He is very professional with knowledge of the history, architecture, and attractions of the city. We were very impressed with his driving skills as he navigated extremely narrow streets and heavy traffic with ease and competentcy. We highly recommend "ACCESSIBLE PORTUGAL" for their service, courtesy, efficiency in providing tours, accomodations and answering any and all questions of tourists in wheelschairs. We give top ten! goog Luck

I feel I should thankyou for your 7 days Tour around Portugal . We had the most fantastic time. Douro valley, the food, the people, the scenery, the alcohol!  Wow what a country!  We are even considering buying a small property near Porto, it's such a beautiful place. You guys treated so well. We had everything taken care of, even for my mother´s disability. The whole tour was so amasing, that she never complainted about nothing :). Luis was 5 stars! Nothing failed, even one day when we got late (our fault..) to the restaurant and it was already closed, Luis managed to create us a pic-nic improvised! It turned out to be even better :). I must say it was the best evening of our holiday.  The weather was warm, one day of drizzle, and I really wish we'd had two weeks. Every day we saw something diferent. It´s increadible how sutch a small country can have a great variaty of cultures, and history. Thank you so much for our wonderful holiday." W.C. (Miharu)

Hugo was so patient as we explored, and he definitely made us feel like friends, not tourists. We learned so much of the inspiring Christian heritage of Portugal--certainly a country where history, culture and faith are beautifully intertwined.
We will not forget our time in Portugal and hope to return and see you again!--(we've only scratched the surface of your incredible country!)
