EDITORIAL
Dear readers… Dear friends:
Here we are, once again, showing you the wonders of our little seaside country. This time, we are going to present you the Saint Patron Festivities of Portugal, which have a huge tradition in our country. During the summer, all Portuguese districts celebrate their parties in honor to their patrons. These traditions embrace several rituals, differing from city to city, but in all of them you will find music, balls, plenty of roasted food and fun.
In this issue we will visit the most important celebrations: Santo António from Lisbon, São João from Oporto and São Pedro from Sintra. These events occur respectively in the 13th, 24th and 29th of June, making this month the crazy season of the Saints’ Festivities.
Besides this, we talked with a set of new friends in the Associations, Internet and Interview sections. In this last one, we interview Anabela Lopes who has been developing an interesting project related with adapted driving. In the Internet section, we show you a valuable web resource, where you can find new ideas which will make your life easier. Finally, take a look in Associations to see what is happening in Spinal Research.
Therefore we hope you enjoy our suggestions for this season.
We wish you a nice reading.
