EDITORIAL

Dear readers:

Here we are again! The spring issue of Accessible Portugal Online Magazine is finally online. This time we present you the best that will happen in the sports field of this period of the year in our country. In April, Portugal will host a set of top level international events and, curiously, all of them will occur in Estoril, near Lisbon.

In a space time of two weeks, this parish will receive the Portuguese stage of PGA European Tour, the Estoril Open clay-tennis tournament and the fourth race of Moto GP calendar. The first of them will be the golf tournament, which is scheduled from 3rd to 6th of the month. A few days later, in April 12th, it begins the most important tennis event in Portugal and Roger Federer already assured his presence. Finally, in the day after, the fastest competition of motorcycles will take place in Estoril circuit.

Apart from sport, we would like to introduce you an interesting tradition that it happens every year in Madeira Island, where the inhabitant decorate themselves and also the roads with flowers. This festival is simply called Flowers Festival.

And what’s happening out there in the Accessible World? If you want to know, you shouldn’t miss the opportunity to meet our guests of this issue in Association and Internet sections. There we show you an association that provides all the stuff that you need to water skiing and also one of most recent blogs of our community. Finally, take a look in our interview and let us present you someone who works for four decades in our area. He is Carlos Pereira.

APOM wishes you a good ride through our issue.
Have a good read.
